When my girlfriend, Kristi, and I first moved to Las Vegas from Chicago in 2017, we weren't sure that we were going to be able to continue to perform improv.
We found a couple of theaters in the city that would allow us to perform our duo show Yerks! occasionally. But there was no theater company that felt like we were a part of; we were just orphan improvisers in a new city. Then in 2018 when Kristi discovered ComedySportz was opening up in Las Vegas we both got really excited. We were able to get into the beginning stages of an exciting new theater institution.
Joining the ComedySportz ensemble and feeling like we were finally part of a larger theater community in our new town has been a fantastic experience. It is exciting being part of an organization that encourages such creativity around the world. Performing ComedySportz shows is exciting and challenging even to those who've been performing improv for years. ComedySportz is fun, family-friendly improv that is accessible to all. We are really happy to be a part of this theater ensemble and you can see Kristi and myself perform Saturday, February 9th 2019 at The Space!
