About CSz Rec League

Introducing the CSz Rec League, a unique 12-week journey into the heart of improv. Whether you're looking to sharpen your wit, enhance your public speaking skills, or simply have a blast, our program is designed to elevate your improv game in a supportive and fun environment.

Program Structure

Weeks 1-8: Advanced Improv Training Sessions
Schedule: Sundays, 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Dates: April 7th - July 7th*


The CSz Rec League kicks off with a series of advanced improv training sessions held on Sundays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. These sessions are designed to push your improv skills further, with a focus on advanced techniques, performance readiness, and the unique aspects of the CSz style. Our expert instructors will guide you through each session, ensuring personalized feedback and growth.

 

*Please note, there will be no classes on Mother's Day (May 12th) and Father's Day (June 16th), allowing you to spend time with family.


Weeks 9-12: Live Performance Series
Schedule:

Sundays, 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Dates:
June 2nd - July 7th
 

The program culminates in a thrilling series of live performances, providing you the opportunity to showcase your newly honed skills in front of an audience. These performances are scheduled for the latter part of the program on Sundays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It's your chance to experience the excitement of live improv, engage with the audience, and put into practice all the techniques and concepts you've mastered during the training sessions.

Rec League Program Fee

cost: $500
The comprehensive fee for the 12-week CSz Rec League program is $500. This investment covers all your advanced improv training sessions, personalized feedback from our experienced instructors, and the resources needed to ensure a high-quality learning and performance experience. Payment is required to secure your spot in the program, as spaces are limited to provide personalized attention to each participant.

Performance Uniform Fee

cost: $50

To ensure a cohesive and professional appearance during your performances, an additional fee of $50 is required before the shows begin to cover the cost of your performance uniform. This one-time fee ensures you have the official CSz Rec League uniform, designed not only for your upcoming performances but also as a keepsake of your journey and achievements in the program.

Returning Students

Note for Alumni: If you have previously participated in the CSz Rec League and still have your performance uniform from the last semester, you are welcome to use it again, bypassing the need for the additional uniform fee. We encourage returning students to take advantage of this opportunity to reduce costs while continuing to grow in their improv journey.

If you've journeyed through our foundational training, this advanced league is your next step towards mastering the art of improvisation.

Auditions for Experienced Improvisers

Recognizing the diverse backgrounds of improv enthusiasts, we welcome interested students who may not have completed our core curriculum but believe they have the requisite experience for the Rec League. To ensure a good fit for the program's advanced nature, auditions will be held for these applicants.

Auditions provide an opportunity to showcase your improv skills and readiness to join the league. They are designed to be supportive and informative, giving you a taste of what to expect from the Rec League experience.
