Service Description

Step into the ensemble. The Draft is where technique meets performance. In this ten-week advanced course, improvisers refine their command of the Harold with the goal of performing in r/AITA, strengthening clarity, thematic cohesion, and confident edits under show conditions. You’ll also learn and perform the La Ronde, preparing you for Secrets, Secrets while expanding your ability to track character arcs, transitions, and interconnected storytelling. Beyond these signature formats, students will explore additional long form structures designed to broaden versatility and deepen format fluency. This class is about readiness. You’ll rehearse like a cast, draft like a team, and perform with intention. Emphasis is placed on polish, pacing, ensemble trust, and adapting your skills to different structures without losing authenticity. Designed for advanced improvisers preparing for stage opportunities, The Draft bridges classroom study and show-level performance—equipping you with the range, confidence, and format knowledge needed to thrive in a working long form ensemble.
